These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and PlayBox ("PlayBox", "we", "us"). By downloading, installing or using the PlayBox app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
PlayBox is a media player, not a content provider. The app supplies no channels, films, playlists or streams of any kind. All media is provided by third-party sources that you choose and add yourself. You are solely responsible for the content you load and for having the legal right to access it.
01Acceptance of terms
By using PlayBox you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date shows the current version.
02What PlayBox does
PlayBox is a software media player that plays media from playlists and sources you provide, in formats such as M3U, M3U8 and the Xtream Codes API. The app lets you save playlists, manage them, and play them on supported devices. PlayBox does not select, supply, host or endorse any media content.
03Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to purchase an activation or act as a reseller. By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement.
04Licence to use the app
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use PlayBox on your own devices for your own use, subject to these Terms. This licence does not transfer any ownership of the app to you.
05Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the playlists, links and login details you add to the app.
- You must ensure you have the lawful right and any necessary subscription or licence to access the content you load.
- You must comply with all laws that apply to you, including copyright and broadcasting laws in your country.
- You are responsible for keeping your Device Key and account details secure.
06Prohibited uses
You agree not to:
- Use the app to access, stream or distribute any content you are not legally entitled to access, including pirated or infringing material.
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any third party's rights.
- Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where permitted by law.
- Resell, redistribute or sublicense the app or activations outside the reseller terms we provide.
- Interfere with, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or the app's security.
07Activation and credits
Access to the app's full features requires an activation linked to your device's MAC address and Device Key. Activations and reseller credits are digital and are governed by our Refund Policy. We may suspend or revoke an activation that we reasonably believe is being used in breach of these Terms.
08Resellers
If you operate as a reseller, you receive a panel to activate devices and to credit sub-resellers. You set your own prices and are responsible for your own customers, your own compliance with local law, and any tax obligations arising from your business. You must not present PlayBox as your own product in a way that misleads your customers.
09Intellectual property
The PlayBox app, its name, logo and software are owned by the operator and protected by law. The playlists and content you add remain yours (or the property of their respective owners); we claim no ownership over them.
10Third-party sources and services
Content played through PlayBox comes from third parties we do not control. We make no promise about the availability, legality, quality or safety of any third-party source, and we are not responsible for it. Your dealings with any third-party provider are solely between you and that provider.
11Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular playlist or stream will work.
12Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlayBox and the operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from third-party content, from your use of or inability to use the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for your activation in the twelve months before the claim.
13Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PlayBox and the operator from any claim or demand arising out of your use of the app, the content you load, or your breach of these Terms.
14Termination
We may suspend or end your access to the app if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
15Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
16Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version always appears on this page. If a change is significant, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
